Using treatment pads placed on specific areas of the body, the i-Lipo Ultra low-level lasers are used to trigger a chemical signal in the fat cells that breaks down stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol which can be released through channels in the cell membranes.

The fatty acids and glycerol are then transported around the body to the tissues that will use them during metabolism to create energy.
